1. Product Description

   PH General Ledger v5 is a Use-Case tutorial designed to help 
students understand the basic principles of General Accounting 
practices.  Through the use of pre-defined templates and financial 
statements, the user learns how transaction entries effect company 
accounts and fiscal stability.

2. Installation Notes
---------------------

2.1 Before You Run Setup

   Please review the Hardware and Software requirements to determine
if your system will support the software.


2.2 MS Windows NT, 2000 and XP Requirements:

  If you are installing PH General Ledger v5 on to a computer with Microsoft Windows
NT 4, Microsoft Windows 2000, or Microsoft Windows XP, 
you will need to be logged in as local machine administrator prior to installing 
the software.  Some system files may need to be replaced and new files added and 
registered.

3. Installation Notes
---------------------

3.1 Hardware Requirements

To install PH General Ledger v5, your computer must meet certain hardware 
requirements, which include:

· Microsoft Windows Windows 98, 2000, NT, ME or XP.
  (Pentium II class computer is recommended).
· A hard disk with a minimum of 5 megabytes (MB) available space. 
· Memory requirements:
	Windows 98, ME:  		A minimum of 32 MB of RAM (memory). 
	Windows NT, 2000 and XP:  	A minimum of 128 MB of RAM (memory). 
· A video card that will support at least 256 colors.
· Video resolution of at least 800 x 600 pixels (1024 x 768 or higher recommended). 


3.2 Software Requirements

PH General Ledger v5 requires Microsoft Windows operating systems, 
which include:

· MS Windows  98, Millennium Edition (ME)
· MS Windows NT 4.0
· MS Windows 2000, XP
