Read the Language in Use dialog on page 3 of your Chinese Link text, then, basing on the content of what you have read, decide True/False for each of the following statements.

Please note that a Chinese sound or word in standard pinyin form is indicated by an italicized spelling followed by a number which shows its tonal value. For example, hao3 means the pinyin “hao” in its third tone.
