"Why We Fight" by William J. Bennett

William J. Bennett

William J. Bennett is a former Secretary of Education (under Ronald Reagan) and currently is chair of Americans for Victory Over Terrorism. During his long and productive political career, Bennett (a Republican) served as Chair of the National Endowment for the Humanities (under Ronald Reagan) and as Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy (under George H. W. Bush). He is author of The Book of Virtues, The Children’s Book of Virtues, and The Death of Outrage: Bill Clinton and the Assault on American Ideals.
