- Schloss Neuschwanstein
On this site you can find out about Gärten, Seen and Schlösser in Bayern, including “crazy” King Ludwig the Second’s Schloss Neuschwanstein. Select Neuschwanstein from the list of places. What if you wanted to visit the castle today? Find out when the castle is open today and how much it would cost to get in. What days of the year is the castle closed?

The Deutsches Museum site offers a wealth of information about the museum, its exhibits (Ausstellungen), Archiv, and other research (Forschung) resources. Go to the list of exhibits and pick out three that you would like to check out on your next visit to Munich. What, specifically, would you see at each of those exhibits? Take a look a the Museum Multimedial. What kinds of exhibits are shown there?

Deutsche Jugendherbergen offers on-line services such as signing up for membership or finding out more information about youth hostels around the world. You can also read about specific trips set up through the organization. First, click on Mitgliedschaft and then on Reiseanmeldungen. Pick a trip that sounds particularly good to you. Find out the following information: Where does the group go? When is it (exact dates)? What types of activities are involved? How much does it cost?

With this online booking agent, you can choose from a wide variety of vacation packages. Skim the choices listed on the main page. How much is the cheapest vacation package listed? What country is it in and how long is the vacation?

For many people, Ferienzeit means it’s time to travel! This online resource provides all kinds of information for travelers. Write down at least five words that contain the word “reisen” and come up with an English equivalent for each word.
