How does that number compare to the city's overall population? About how much would it cost to live there?

    Haben Sie Hunger? (Are you hungry?) Skim today's menu at this university's Mensa. What would you choose to eat right now? Do you see any vegetarian options? How much would it cost if you wanted to have a glass of Wein or Bier with your lunch?

  • The German Post Office
    At the website of the German post office, you can find out postage rates, locate the nearest post office, and look up information such as a Postleitzahl (zip code). Go to this site, click on Postleitzahlen-Suche (zipcode search) and find the Postleitzahl for Asha Singh, who lives on Bismarckstraße 17 in München.

  • The Online Yellow Pages
    You can use the online Gelbe Seiten (yellow pages) to locate businesses across Germany. Find out what computer stores are in Hannover: for Suchwort (word to search) type Computer, and for Ort (place) type Hannover. Now click Suche starten and write down the catchiest business name and phone number you find in the list. What is the Vorwahl (area code) for Hannover?
