After studying this chapter, you should be able to:
- Describe the critical elements of a research proposal.
- Critically evaluate a research article.
- Plan an effective strategy for researching, designing, and conducting a research
study.
- Choose and/or define a dependent variable appropriate to your research question.
- Find and evaluate tests that are designed for specific purposes.
- Determine how and where you will find your sample, and describe some of the
factors that will influence your choice of a sample.
- Write an effective research proposal.
