Develop a Key Word List (p. 74)

Even if you begin your actual searching with a library catalog or a database, having a list of key words will get you off to a productive start by revealing a list of key words that you can use in your search.

Key words are any words or synonyms that relate to your topic. To develop a list of key words, ask research questions. Many words in questions will be key or main words that you should use when you search.

Below, you will develop a list of key words and synonyms for the topic your are exploring.
