Chapter 2 provides an overview of different camera formats, as well as the features of both manually operated and automatic operation cameras. It contains a guide of the camera controls, such as aperture and shutter speed, and introduces vocabulary necessary to identify and learn to use the parts of the camera. This chapter also offers brief advantages and disadvantages to using each type of camera, with tips on how to work with the equipment to produce sharp images.
