Briefly summarize the types of resources available in the various geographical areas depicted in the map (i.e. The British Isles, Central Europe, Northern Africa and Spain, the Middle East, Russia, Eastern Europe). Note both the natural and manufactured resources of these areas and analyze how particular trade routes depicted in the map might have made it possible for areas lacking certain resources or products to obtain them in mutually beneficial exchanges.

Analyze what cultures, as a result of the goods and resources they provided, may have had a particularly significant influence on others despite geographical distance and cultural difference.
