  • Discuss the nature of light and its various properties.

  • Explain why the Sun and Moon can be seen for a few minutes after they have set below the horizon.

  • Describe the formation of mirages, primary and secondary rainbows, halos, sun dogs, and solar pillars.

  • Explain how and where the glory and a corona form.
