BioCast

Introduction

The BioCast originated as a short radio broadcast from KANW ("http://www.kanw.com/") FM 89.1—a National Public Radio and Public Radio International affiliated station in New Mexico where I teach. My hope for these BioCast programs is to help you appreciate the importance of biology through the fascinating research taking place in laboratories around the world. The following BioCast programs were specifically selected to help you with the concepts in this chapter.
