Approximately 175 new end-of-chapter problems have been
added and many of the existing problems have been modified.

Numerous minor changes have been made throughout to
improve clarity.

Section 2.7 has been expanded and Example 2.21 has been
added illustrating how to use superposition in solving circuits containing a
dependent source.

Section 5.1 has been expanded and Example 5.2 has been
added illustrating how to compute the rms values of nonsinusoidal periodic
waveforms.

In Chapter 7, a discussion of logic ranges and noise
margins has been added, the discussions of Gray codes and Karnaugh maps have
been modified to make them more consistent with common usage, and Examples
7.11 and 7.12 have been added illustrating how to find the minimum SOP and
POS forms of a logic function.

Chapter 9 has been updated to the latest version of
LabVIEW.

Chapter 12 on FETs has been updated and a brief
discussion of channel-length modulation and charge-carrier-velocity
saturation has been included.
