for Getting Started With Geographic Information Systems is for both the student
and the instructor. It provides many innovative labs, questions, and exercises
for each chapter in the text. The student works directly with ArcView in the
labs to learn critical GIS skills. The instructor will find PowerPoint
Lectures to go with each chapter, and multiple-choice quizzes. Each chapter
includes a glossary of key terms, and an annotated list of Web links that
