abscisic acid auxins cytokinins gibberellins
Changes in ethylene concentrations on the light side of the plant reduces growth rates. Gibberellins stimulate growth on the illuminated side of the shoot. Auxins are found at highest concentrations and stimulate growth on the darker side of the shoot. Oat coleoptiles exhibit negative phototropism.
