Foundations of American Education This site allows students and professors using Foundations of American Education, Fourth Edition, by L. Dean Webb, Arlene Metha, and K. Forbis Jordan access to a wealth of resources. Students can review chapter content using chapter Objectives and Summaries. Students can review knowledge and understanding of chapter concepts with multiple choice and true-false Self-Tests, which provide immediate feedback with a percentage score and correct answers. In addition, Discussion Questions provide questions for reflection and deeper understanding of chapter material. Internet Resources assist students in using the Web to do additional research on chapter topics and key issues. Web Activities are topic-related activities in which students can explore and research topics on the Internet and respond to thought-provoking questions. Video Insights offer Web links to related sites for further research and exploration of topics and issues covered by video clips suggested by the text. Portfolio Development Activities are available to help students build their own professional portfolio. An interactive Message Board encourages student interaction outside the classroom.

Professor Resources have been provided for each chapter that are downloadable in PowerPoint format by clicking the link. In addition, the Syllabus Manager enables professors to create and maintain the class syllabus online while also allowing the student access to the syllabus at any time from any computer on the Internet.
