This website contains several features designed to assist you as you study pharmacology. After you have completed the readings and exercises in the textbook, you can turn to this website for additional supplementary information for each chapter.

  • Read the Focus on Pharmacology section to learn about topics related to the chapter or about controversies and issues in pharmacology and healthcare.
  • Read the Internet Investigation section and check out links to other websites.
  • Read the Pharmacology Pronunciation list of common drugs for that chapter. Use the Glossary/Index in the back of the textbook to look up each drug on the list and use the pronunciation guide to practice pronouncing the drug name.
  • Answer the Website review questions and complete the suggested Learning Activities.
