The following written exercises will help you digest the contents of this chapter. You can complete them by using your local library or college career center to explore some of the resources mentioned in this chapter. Exercise 7.1 asks you to list 10 tempting jobs. In Exercise 7.2, you are asked to write about a job based on your interests. Exercise 7.3 has you list five favorite jobs that people you know currently hold. Exercise 7.4 requires that you investigate resources utilizing the local library, college library, and local newspaper. Exercise 7.5 asks that you learn what kinds of information and assistance are available from your college career center, local state employment office, and other employment offices. Exercise 7.6 gives you a format for gathering facts about three jobs.
