Strategies for Building on Your Best

Consider the following strategies for adjusting to change in the days to come:
  • Approach change with an open mind.
  • If you haven't done so, take an afternoon and explore all the resources on your campus such as the library, the academic support center, counseling/advising office, etc.
  • Don't be afraid to ask people in your class or your professors questions about things that are confusing or unclear.
  • So you won't fall behind, adjust your study habits to accommodate more rigorous assignments.
  • Join a club, organization, or study group so you can start building a network of friends.
  • If you are not technologically savvy, find out if there are any resources that can help you catch up.
