This website provides additional information for users of Strategies for Teaching Learners with Special Needs: Effective and Reflective Practices for all Students, eighth edition, by Edward Polloway, James R. Patton, and Loretta Serna. To further enrich their learning, users will find Key Themes for each chapter as well as Multiple Choice, True-False, and Short Answer self-assessment questions with which to test their knowledge of chapter content. In addition, Activities offer students activity ideas to broaden their experience and expand their understanding of chapter concepts. Web Links offer further avenues for research and discovery. An online Glossary helps students with the understanding of terminology. Users will also find a threaded Message Board feature complete with discussion starters that allows them to communicate with students and professors nationwide about pertinent topics and issues.
Finally, for professors, there is a Syllabus Manager feature that allows professors to create and modify an online syllabus for their courses. In addition, professors have access to Instructors Manual, PowerPoint, and Resources materials.
