This site provides students using Educational Psychology: Developing Learners, fifth edition, by Jeanne Ellis Ormrod, with a wealth of resources. Here, students can review chapter content by viewing the Key Questions for each chapter. Students can also assess their understanding by choosing the best alternative in Multiple Choice Questions. These interactive test items provide hints to consider before selecting an answer and immediate feedback with a percentage score and correct answers. Students can respond to critical thinking Essay Questions online as well and share their responses with professors or peers via email. Students will also be able to take advantage of a chapter-by-chapter Glossary and Web Destinations specific to every chapter.
In addition, users can read another chapter on Learning in the Content Areas—six total—that appeared in previous editions of the text. Users can also browse the Student Artifacts Library for opportunities to assess student work from preschool through 12th grade, in many content areas.
A link to the Pearson Family Education Network provides students with vast bonus resources to aid in their understanding and application of content. The Message Board feature offers a threaded bulletin board environment where students can interact and respond to thought provoking discussion topics. Rounding out the site is a Syllabus Manager, which enables professors to create and maintain the class syllabus online while also allowing the student access to the syllabus at any time from any computer on the Internet.
