Diversity Tie-In

Maternal Education and Student Achievement

Socioeconomic status (SES) is a reflection of family income, maternal education level, and family occupation. Family income correlates with how well students do in school. Maternal education is a powerful predictor of how successful students will be in school. Review the Diversity Tie-In "Maternal Education and Student Achievement" in the text.
