Ethical Dilemma

Program Incentives

Amy and Allison teach first grade in a middle- to low-income school district where a lot of children have difficulty learning to read. Allison believes that the parents should do more to support their children's learning to read. She has joined the sales force of a national company that markets a beginner reading program targeted at struggling beginner readers. Allison has asked Amy for names, addresses, and phone numbers of families of children in her class who are experiencing reading difficulty. Allison feels she can help the children and make some extra money.
