Third Edition

by

George S. Morrison

This site provides students using Fundamentals of Early Childhood Education, Third Edition, by George S. Morrison, with a wealth of resources. Here, students can review chapter themes by viewing Focus Questions for each chapter. Students can also test their knowledge by filling in the answers to Study Guide questions, and also by answering multiple-choice and essay Self-Test Questions.

Programs in Action activities allow students to do web research and formulate opinions about programs being used in early childhood education today. Lists of Web Destinations for each chapter include Technology Tie-In and Linking to Learning sections that provide students with vast web resources to aid in their understanding and application of content. A Professional Development section in each chapter offers students a chance to develop their own portfolio by doing web research and answering questions. Students can also browse the text Glossary online, and a link to Merrill Education's Early Childhood Education Resources website is also provided.

In addition, users will find Message Board and Chat features that allow them to communicate with students and professors nationwide about pertinent topics and issues. Finally, for professors, there is a Syllabus Manager feature that allows them to create and modify an online syllabus for their courses.

To begin, select a chapter from the "Jump To" menu found in the upper left corner of your screen.
