COGNITIVE OBJECTIVES
At the completion of this lesson, the EMT-Basic student will be able to:

1-4.1 Identify the following topographic terms: medial, lateral, proximal, distal, superior, inferior, anterior, posterior, midline, right and left, midclavicular, bilateral, and midaxillary. (pp. 59, 61)
1-4.2 Describe the anatomy and function of the following major body systems: respiratory (pp. 70–75), circulatory (pp. 75–81), musculoskeletal (pp. 82–84), nervous (pp. 83–85), and endocrine (pp. 84–86).
