Objectives

Numbered objectives are from the United States Department of Transportation 1994 EMT-Basic National Standard Curriculum. Asterisked objectives, if any, pertain to material that is supplemental to the DOT curriculum.

Cognitive
1-1.1 Define Emergency Medical Services (EMS) systems. (pp. 2-5)
1-1.2 Differentiate the roles and responsibilities of the EMT-Basic from other prehospital care providers. (pp. 4-8)
1-1.3 Describe the roles and responsibilities related to personal safety. (pp. 6-7)
