For the purpose of completing the following activities, choose to think about either preschool or primary-grade students, once you have chosen an age group, consider implementing one or more of the following options:

This activity contains 3 questions.

	For the age group selected, create a list of potential activities related to pancakes that might be of interest to them. Describe how these activities assist in mathematics, science, social studies, and literacy learning for young children.   To create paragraphs in your essay response, type <p> at the beginning of the paragraph, and </p> at the end.

	Choose one of the activities identified previously and write an activity plan (see Chapter 11) for it. If possible, try out the activity with a group of children.   To create paragraphs in your essay response, type <p> at the beginning of the paragraph, and </p> at the end.

	Write a letter to families, summarizing this hypothetical project. Describe for them the activities engaged in and the learning that students demonstrated from completing the project.   To create paragraphs in your essay response, type <p> at the beginning of the paragraph, and </p> at the end.
