Each chapter begins with a Chapter Overview to understand the key ideas in a chapter. Students can then test their knowledge by visiting the online Study Guide and taking multiple choice, true/false, and essay-format practice quizzes that provide immediate feedback with a percentage score and correct answers.
Reflecting on Teaching and Learning provides open-ended questions for students to record their thoughts on various teaching situations to encourage reflection and development of quality teaching dispositions. Students can respond to questions about video clips (from MyEducationLab) in the Observing Development module and do the same, plus engage in additional application exercises, in Multimedia Explorations and Activities.
