Mr. Chang has been committed to the hospital for psychiatric treatment. He was admitted to through the Emergency Room last night after he threatened to kill his wife, children, and himself. He has been placed on suicide precaution and is considered a risk for elopement. You have been assigned to Mr. Chang, and you are also orienting a new nurse. The new nurse is in the first week of her orientation. This is the first involuntary admission since she began her orientation. Mr. Chang is angry about his admission, and he tells you, "I have rights. You can't do this to me." He then demands to know what is going to happen to him.
