Before you get started, take the time to read through the following brief introduction.
This tutorial has five main sections, Visual Rhetoric, Use of Visuals, Types of Visuals, Color, and Design. With only a few variations, each section is divided into smaller three- to five-page chapters, all arranged using three basic types of pages.
Many pages provide information. On most of these pages you will find text and image. Many of these images are rollovers, which means you must point your mouse over the images to activate a rollover that provides more information about that image. These pages resemble the screen shot below.
Place your mouse pointer over the circled parts of the menu image below:
- The navigation bar is found at the bottom of each page. The optionts allow you to return to the start of the tutorial, return to the start of the section you are currently working in, return to the previous page, or go on to the next page.
- Many pages have images that are rollovers. This means you must point your moouse over them in order to get all the information about the image or the chapter you are in.
- At the top of each page, just under the header, you will find the name of the chapter.
