This site allows users of Understanding the Math You Teach: Content and Methods for Prekindergarten through Grade 4, by Anita C. Burris, access to extra resources and materials. Here, users will find Chapter Objectives, Key Terms and Phrases, and multiple choice Self Assessment items for each chapter. A Praxis Self Test provides students with the opportunity to test themselves on knowledge of Praxis exam content. Deeper Understanding tutorials in selected chapters illustrate additional mathematical principles. Standards and Web Links provide avenues for further research and discovery on the Internet. A Message Board facilitates student and teacher interaction and communication.
