Online Study Guide

The study guide portion of this site allows you to take practice quizzes to review concepts presented in the text. Questions are in multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, and essay formats. The site is designed to grade your work and will allow you to e-mail your results to your instructor.

Multisim® Circuit Files

Circuits from selected figures in the text are rendered in Multisim 2001®, Multisim 7®, and Multisim 8® and are included on this site. Circuits created in Version 8 will be available in the near future. The circuits you see here were created for use with Multisim software. If you do not currently have Multisim installed on your computer or available to you in your school lab and wish to purchase it, click here for ordering information.

Multisim® is a schematic capture, simulation, and programmable logic tool used by college and university students in their course of study of electronics and electrical engineering. Multisim is widely regarded as an excellent tool for classroom and laboratory learning. However, no part of your textbook or this website is dependent upon the Multisim software or the provided circuit files. These files are provided at no extra cost to the consumer and are for use by anyone who chooses to utilize Multisim software.

Multisim files are also available for activities in the Lab Manual. Click here for the Multisim circuit files needed for the Laboratory Manual (Multisim Emphasis)."

PSpice

Selected circuit diagrams in the text are rendered in PSpice 9.2. These files are provided at no extra cost to the consumer and are for use by anyone who chooses to use PSpice software. PSpice is widely regarded as an excellent simulation tool for classroom and laboratory learning. However, successful use of the textbook is not dependent upon use of the circuit files.

Click here for the PSpice 9.2 files for any chapter.

If you do not currently have access to PSpice software on your computer or in your school lab and you wish to order it in order to use the circuits created for this text, the software may be purchased by visiting www.orcad.com.
