Unit 1

When you have completed this unit, you will be able to do the following:

  • Add and subtract whole numbers, decimals, and percentages.
  • Multiply and divide whole numbers, fractions, mixed numbers, decimals, and percentages.
  • Convert
    • Decimals to percentages
    • Percentages to decimals

Unit 2

When you have completed this unit, you will be able to do the following:

  • Match vocabulary words with their correct meanings.
  • State the metric unit of measure used to determine length, distance, weight, and volume.
  • Use metric terms to express 100 and 1,000 units of measure.
  • Use metric terms to express 0.1, 0.01, and 0.001 units of measure.
  • List four basic rules to follow when using the metric system.
  • Identify metric measures of length and volume.
  • Convert ounces to cubic centimeters/milliliters, pounds to kilograms, and ounces to grams.

Unit 3

When you have completed this unit, you will be able to do the following:

  • Recognize time on a 24-hour clock.
  • Express 24-hour time/military time verbally and in writing.
  • Convert Greenwich time to 24-hour time.
