This is the experimental design section of William Trochim's Research Methods Knowledge Base. It provides a host of information such as an introduction to experimental design, discussions of internal and external validity, and links to examples of two group designs, factorial designs, and covariance designs. There are additional links to additional information relevant to experimental designs, but most of it is not discussed in the Gay, Airasian, and Mills text.
