The data as well as some demographic information related to the subjects participating in the study is given in Table 1.
It is necessary to create an SPSS data file to analyze this data. To do so, open your copy of SPSS, check the "Type in Data" bullet, and press OK. You need to enter the data for each of the subjects involved in this study. For example, for the first subject in Group 1, enter a 1.00 designating her membership in the group, F for her gender/sex, 15 for her age, and 73 for her test score. Continue to enter data for all members of Group 1. When completed, beginning on the subsequent line, enter data for all members of Group 2 and Group 3. Do not use a new table for entering data for each group. Follow this process until you have entered all 45 records in the same table. When you are done, check your table against Table 2, an SPSS data file created to contain the same data as shown above.
