A 70-year-old female was recently transferred to a skilled nursing facility for continued physical therapy, after sustaining a lumbar compression fracture and rib contusion post-fall. Her past medical history is significant for rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, CAD, HTN, and type II diabetes. Aside from her cardiac and diabetic medications, she is currently taking hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil) 200mg 2tabs daily, methotrexate (Rheumatrex) 2.5mg 8tabs weekly on Friday, vitamin D 400 IU 1tab daily, Oyster-Cal 500mg 1tab TID, alendronate (Fosamax) 70mg 1tab weekly on Wednesday, folic acid 1mg 1tab daily, and a multivitamin daily.
