Missy Hollis is a teenager who has acne vulgaris. Missy has some new inflamed "bumps" on her face, which she has scratched and they have become infected. She threatens not to leave the house, but her parents make her go to school. A peer says something to her about her acne and she bursts into tears and runs to the nurse's office.
