You must have already registered for MyITLab [redeemed your MyITLab Acess Code and established a Login Name and Password] before using this Mac solution. If you have not done so, please go back to www.myitlab.com to register and establish your account.
The MyITLab Mac solution uses a remote desktop client to run MyITLab in a virtual Windows environment.
Two installations are necessary. The first is one time only. The second must be done each time you access MyITLab.
Please note the following:
- you must be running Mac OS 10.5 or higher
- this solution is not compatible with MyITLab Grader Project activities
- this solution is only supported for customers in the United States and Canada
Familiarize yourself with the process before you begin to ensure the best user experience.
To use MyITLab on a Mac computer, complete the following steps:
Step 1 – Install the MS RDC Application - ONE TIME ONLY!
[a] Download the MS RDC Application.
[b] Double-click the dowloaded file to launch the installation process.
This application will allow you to use the Remote Desktop file [RDP] to launch a virtual session of MyITLab. You only have to do this once.
Step 2 - Download & Launch the Remote Desktop [RDP] File
You must complete this step every time you access MyITLab on your Mac.
Step 3 - Login to MyITLab virtual session
Upon reaching the MyITlab login page, enter the Login Name and Password you registered using your MyITLab access code.
