Your computer has traditionally used the keyboard and the mouse to enter and manipulate information. Other input devices like the trackball can help make your job easier depending on the task at hand.

As well, the industry is slowly shifting from the "wired" input device to the "wireless" variety. The main benefit of wireless devices is convenience. How many times have you worked with your mouse and keyboard, leaned back in your chair and then ran out of cord room?
