High-Availability Disk Storage
The majority of corporate information is stored on disk. As information becomes more critical to an organization’s operations, the need for disk to be highly stable, reliable, and availability increases.
A technique used in the industry to store information on disks and meet high-availability requirements is called RAID. There are different ways to implement RAID and several vendors who provide this technology.
Using the Internet, list and define the different types of RAID from the most reliable to the least reliable. List the top 3 disk storage vendors and which types of RAID they offer. Submit a 2-3 page report to your instructor.
